The Reel

The Shimano Ultegra 14000 XSD Surf Reel‘s
features include AR-C Line Management System, Dyna Balanced Rotor,
Super Stopper ll, Aerowrap ll, 2 speed oscillation and a Baitrunner
Cold Forged Aluminium Spool that eats up a whopping 500 meters of
50lb Power Pro.

Drag pressure
Long Distance surf casting from the shore line is effortless with
this long cast reel and a huge 20kg drag pressure to tame the

S A-RB
These bearings have been through the same process as the A-RB
bearings, but feature shields on both sides of the bearings that
reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the bearings
rotation.

Power Roller
This is an oversized line roller that reduces twist from casting
and retrieving. It is enhanced with a tapered area on the support
to help line get onto the roller quicker.

Super Stopper II
Super Stopper II anti-reverse uses a one-way bearing that

Aero Wrap II
Aero Wrap II is a worm gear oscillation system with a specially
designed pitch to create optimal oscillation speeds for the

Dyna Balance
This feature eliminates wobble during the retrieve by counter

The sleek, modern design sports a matt black finish with white, silver and black trims, while the butt configurations utilise Sea Guide carbon hooded reel seats. A combination of cork and EVA grips were selected for the rod to give it the best transmission of bites.
